Juan Williams is a renowned American journalist, political analyst, and author. He is a strong advocate for education and serves on the board of several education-related organizations, such as the National Association of Black Journalists and the New York Civil Rights Coalition.
Williams attended Oakwood Friends School in Poughkeepsie, New York where he graduated in 1972. In the school, he became clerk of the student body, editor of the student paper and was also captain of the baseball, championship basketball team, and cross-country.
He then attended Haverford College, he graduated with a baccalaureate in philosophy in 1976. He has also been published in magazines such as The Atlantic Monthly and Time.

After college, Williams began his career in journalism as a reporter for The Washington Post. He worked for the Post for over 20 years and covered a variety of topics, including politics, civil rights, and social issues. He also served as an editorial writer and a national correspondent.
In 1997, Williams joined National Public Radio (NPR) as a senior national correspondent. He also became a regular contributor to Fox News, where he served as a political analyst and commentator. He appeared on several of the network’s programs, including “The O’Reilly Factor,” “Hannity & Colmes,” and “Special Report with Bret Baier.”
Williams has written several books, including “Eyes on the Prize: America’s Civil Rights Years, 1954-1965” and “Thurgood Marshall: American Revolutionary.” He has also won several awards for his work, including an Emmy Award for his television documentary “Politics: The New Black Power” and the American Bar Association’s Silver Gavel Award for his book “This Far by Faith: Stories from the African American Religious Experience.”
Currently, Williams is a political analyst for Fox News and a co-host of the network’s talk show, “The Five.” He is also a columnist for The Hill and a political analyst for NPR.
