Wes Bentley (Wesley Cook Bentley). Is an American actor known for his roles in films such as “American Beauty,” “Interstellar,” and “The Hunger Games.” He was born on September 4, 1978, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to David and Cherie Bentley.

Bentley was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and attended Sylvan Hills High School. He later moved to New York City to pursue acting and attended the Juilliard School. Where he studied under William Esper.


Bentley made his film debut in 1999 in the Oscar-winning film “American Beauty,” where he played the role of Ricky Fitts, a teenager who becomes involved with the film’s protagonist, played by Kevin Spacey.

He received critical acclaim for his performance and was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.

In recent years, Bentley has continued to work in film and television, appearing in movies such as “Interstellar” (2014) and “Pete’s Dragon” (2016), as well as the television series “Yellowstone” (2018-2021).
