Diallo had a desire of becoming a doctor, but after beginning to shadow doctors, she decided it wasn’t for her. She was unable to stand witnessing people in anguish or seeing flesh pierced with needles and knives. She relocated back to New York City and took some time to reflect.
She started out as a model for Abercrombie & Fitch, where she was quickly promoted to assistant manager. She began doing test shots (just for fun) with other photographers and quickly discovered how much fun it was. After turning down a photographer’s request for work many times, she finally accepted the offer in April 2015.
She received a direct message on Instagram in August 2015 informing her that she had achieved internet fame on Tumblr. She contacted the photographer after reading the comments, hired them for another photoshoot, and uploaded the results to Tumblr.
She gained several opportunities when she became viral once more. She continued to shoot and produce video as her following quickly increased. She developed as a model and content creator in 2017 and began working with well-known brands and businesses.
Her family did not at first encourage her to pursue a career in modeling, but ultimately they began to see how much time she was devoting to it and how much she loved it. She sat down and discussed the dos and don’ts with her mother. She eventually won the support of her family.
