Allison Alderson born Allison Leigh Alderson DeMarcus is an American actress, TV host and beauty queen born on 18 January 1977 in Jackson, TN.
She has competed in the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA and Miss America pageants.
Allison is a graduate of the University School of Jackson. In 1999, she graduated cum laude with a degree in business administration from Rhodes College where she served as president of the Chi Omega sorority. She also won the Wall Street Journal Award for Excellence in Finance because she was the top finance student in her graduating class.
As part of the Bryce Harlow Institute of Business and Government Affairs, Alderson also studied at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
She also served as “style judge” for CMT’s Karaoke Dokey and hosted Extreme Makeover: Quickbooks Edition. She is also on the boards of directors of Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, the Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee and the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant.

The couple welcomed their first child a daughter Madeline Leigh Demarcus on 18 December 2010. They welcomed their second child Dylan Jay on 20 July 2012. DeMarcus almost missed the birth of their son, as he was in Detroit, Mich when his wife went into labor.
He raced to the hospital in Nashville and fortunately made it just in time to welcome his son.
