Allison Payne (1964-2021) was an American journalist and news anchor who was best known for her work on WGN-TV in Chicago. She was born on February 12, 1964, in Richmond, Virginia, and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Payne attended the University of Detroit and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.
