Cecily Chapman Biography
Cecily Chapman is an American reality star and bail agent. She is the adopted daughter of American bountsman Duane Chapman through his marriage to American-Italian bounty hunter Beth Smith.
Chapman is popularly known for appearing alongside her parents and brother in the CMT series Dog and Beth: On the Hunt, a spinoff of the series Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Cecily was born to Beth Smith, and Keith A. Barmore. Her parents got married in 1991 but they were divorced not long after. Her married then got married to renowned bounty hunter Duane Chapman who adopted her.

She has three half siblings: Bonnie Joanne Chapman, Garry Chapman and Dominic Davis from her mother’s other marriages. Through her adoptive father Dog, she has nine step-siblings; Christopher Michael Hecht, Duane Lee Chapman II and Leland Chapman, Zebediah Duane Chapman, Wesley Chapman, J.R. “James” Chapman, Barbara Katie “B.K” Chapman, (1982–2006), Tucker Dee Chapman, and Lyssa “Baby Lyssa” Rae Chapman. Her step-brother Leland and his son Dakota starred alongside her in Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.

Her mother Beth Chapman revealed she was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer on September 14, 2017 after months of a nagging cough. Her adoptive father Dog decided to share the story with fans. The result was then an A&E Special series named “Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives,” which premiered on November 27, 2017
Dog then shared the diagnosis report with their family, the gruelling 13-hour surgery to have the Stage 2 tumour removed and also the aftermath in September 2017.
Her mother underwent an emergency surgery in November 2018 revealing that the cancer had returned. Her father gave an update of her health to Us Weekly saying, “she had a lump in her throat twice the size of last time, and they performed an emergency surgery yesterday. They cut a hole in her throat so she can breathe; she can still talk.”
In June 2019, her father, Dog confirmed that his wife had been placed in a medically induced coma amid her cancer battle. “Please say your prayers for Beth right now,” he tweeted at the time.
Cecily Chapman Education
Chapman attended Sacred Hearts Academy which is located on 3253 Waiʻalae Avenue, in the town of Kaimuki in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. It is a historic Roman Catholic college preparatory school for girls founded in 1909 to serve the needs of early Hawaiʻi Catholics in the former Territory of Hawaiʻi.
She was a pageant queen in her very early years and she has won many competitions. She also grew up loving fashion, photography, and modelling. Chapman holds a Certified Bail Agent (CBA) distinction earned at the national bail association, Professional Bail Agents of the United States.
Cecily Chapman Dog the Bounty Hunter
Cecily appeared on the A&E series Dog the Bounty Hunter which chronicled Duane “Dog” Chapman’s experiences as a bounty hunter. The series aired for eight seasons and cancelled by A&E on May 21, 2012. Cecilyb will also appear on a new series, Dog’s Most Wanted, that will air on WGN America in 2020.
