Chris D’Elia is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and podcast host. D’Elia began performing stand-up comedy in Los Angeles in 2006 and quickly gained recognition for his energetic and sometimes absurd style. He has released several comedy specials, including “White Male. Black Comic.” (2013), “Incorrigible” (2015), and “Man on Fire” (2017).

He was enrolled and later graduated from La Canada High School in 1998, he then joined the New York University and studied acting although he dropped out after a year because he didn’t like college.

Chris D’Elia Career

D’Elia began his career as a stand-up comedian in 2006 and quickly gained popularity with his observational humor and high-energy performances. He released his first comedy special, “White Male Black Comic,” in 2013, and went on to release several more specials, including “Incorrigible” in 2015 and “Man on Fire” in 2017.

In addition to his stand-up career, D’Elia has also appeared in a number of television shows and movies. He had a recurring role on the NBC sitcom “Whitney” and has also appeared on shows such as “Workaholics,” “Undateable,” and “Alone Together.” He also starred in the Netflix series “You” in 2019.

D’Elia has also hosted several podcasts throughout his career, including “Congratulations with Chris D’Elia” and “The Chris D’Elia Podcast.”

However, D’Elia’s career has been somewhat controversial due to allegations of sexual misconduct. In 2020, several women accused him of inappropriate behavior and grooming, which led to him being dropped by his talent agency and several TV shows.

D’Elia denied the allegations but issued a public apology, stating that he had “made some bad decisions” and needed to “do better.” As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, he has not released any new content and has kept a low profile since the allegations.
