Chris Vosters Biography
Chris Vosters is an American play-by-play broadcaster based in Chicago. Vosters’ broadcasting background is rooted in his early childhood when he announced scores from the newspaper at the breakfast table.
Vosters had interests in sports and public speaking, he pursued a career in broadcast journalism in college. He graduated with honors from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. After pursuing a career in broadcast journalism in college.
His career vision crystalized thanks to his time at the university’s state-of-the-art student radio station, 91.7-FM WSUM.
Vosters began his post-college career in baseball in search of on-air reps to hone his delivery and find his voice. He began his post-college career in baseball. Vosters reached a major stepping-stone in 2015 when he accepted the lead broadcast position for the Great Lakes Loons, a Dodgers’ affiliate. And ESPN 100.9-FM WLUN in Midland, Michigan.
The Loons won the Midwest League championship in 2016. And he was named the league’s broadcaster of the year by his peers. While in the Great Lakes Bay Region, he also broadcast high football and basketball. Along with college basketball for Northwood University.
