After graduating high school, Laskos answered the call to broadcasting. He started out in radio and soon afterward he joined television. Laskos has covered breaking news on the streets of such fast-paced cities as Washington DC, Houston, Boston, Orlando and Providence.
Laskos became known for his various catch-phrases, from “cuff’em and stuff’em” referring to an arrest, to ending each live report saying, “Back to West LA we go.”
