Jasmina Alston is an American journalist for CBS 46. She was previously a multimedia journalist covering local and state politics for WDHN News, the ABC affiliate in Dothan, Alabama.
Jasmin is a graduate of Georgia State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a focus on telecommunications and a minor in Arabic.
Alston was originally in print journalism, she wrote for Georgia State University’s student newspaper The Signal. She then switched to broadcast journalism after joining the university’s student run news station, GSTV. There, she both anchored and reported.
She also has an experience in social media and marketing management for AmpersandH. Book Design and Marketing and news intern for Atlanta’s WSB-TV.
