Lew Temple is an American film actor who is known for his roles as Locus Fender in the action film, Domino, and Cal, the diner manager in the comedy-drama Waitress. He is probably best known for his role as Axel in the third season of The Walking Dead.

He was raised in Texas, and was the 1982 Baseball MVP at Rollins College, from where he graduated in 1985. He was involved in a charity event for breast cancer called Bowling for Boobies in 2009.

Anderson Hospital in Houston, where Temple was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia and a forty percent chance of survival. Lew stayed in the hospital for eight months and undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Temple is a leukemia survivor.
