The couple and their family moved from Ashland to Weston, Wisconsin in late 2011. In 2013, they moved to Wausau, Wisconsin so that Sean would be closer to an airport for his weekly commute to Washington, D.C. where he spends three or four days a week.

Sean Duffy announced on 26 August 2019 that he is leaving Congress in September 2019. In his resignation statement on Facebook, Sean cited family as the reason he is quitting Congress.

Duffy revealed that their ninth baby, due in late October, will need even more love, time, and attention due to complications, including a heart condition. He added that this was the right time for him to take a break from public service in order to be the support of his wife, baby, and family needs.

Her fourth child John-Paul Duffy was born in 2006.

Rachel Campos-Duffy Pregnant

On Tuesday 8th May 2019, Duffy shared the good news on her Instagram that she’s pregnant with her ninth child. She referenced Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s royal baby, writing “Buckingham Palace isn’t the only one with big baby news …we found out God isn’t done with our family yet. Baby #9 coming this fall! Don’t tell us we’re crazy. We prefer brave and full of hope for America’s future! 🇺🇸.”

Her Husband Sean Duffy wrote on Facebook, “God isn’t done with our family yet! Our entire family is excited to welcome baby number nine to the crew this fall! Rachel said it best – we aren’t crazy, we are just full of hope for America’s future! 🇺🇸.”

Though the Duffy doesn’t know the baby’s gender yet but promises to announce it on a future episode of “FOX and Friends.” The baby is due late October and the Duffys say the baby has a heart condition.

Campos and her husband Sean welcomed their ninth child a baby girl on the night of 30th September 2019. The baby was delivered ahead of the due date. Duffy shared a video on Twitter and Facebook on Tuesday evening, telling followers that because Campos-Duffy was having contractions on Monday and the baby’s heart rate was dropping, doctors performed a C-section at 11:55 p.m. that night.

“Rachel and the baby are doing well,” he said in a video. “Though it’s a little tougher recovery with a C-section, they’re both doing great.”

Duffy also shared that they are planning surgery for her in three or four months to fix holes and valves in her heart.

Rachel Campos-Duffy Real World

She was cast on The Real World: San Francisco in January 1994. She lived in the house on Russian Hill in San Francisco with her six housemates from February 12 to June 19. The season began on July 6, 1994.

The castmates were informed ahead of time that they would be living with someone who was HIV-positive but were not informed which housemate it would be.

On their first night in the house, Campos’ housemate, AIDS educator Pedro Zamora, informed the other housemates that he had AIDS. He has shown them the scrapbook of his career as an HIV educator.

Rachel felt uncomfortable and at first distanced herself from Zamora. She then stated that she wanted to know how his health status would affect her. She, however, said nothing to the other housemates for fear of appearing homophobic.

Although Pedro took this as an act of rejection on her part, the two eventually became good friends. Zamora traveled to Arizona with Campos to visit her family. During her time on the series, Campos had both a romantic relationship and tumultuous friendship with housemate David “Puck” Rainey.

Rachel’s friendship with Rainey eventually dissolved, as did Rainey’s friendship with the rest of the cast, this resulted in his eviction.

Campos subsequently became best friends with Rainey’s replacement, Joanna Rhodes. The two of them were referred to by Winick as “high maintenance twins”.

On the show and in MTV’s promotional materials for the show, She was depicted as a passionate Republican, whose heroes included Jack Kemp, and as a Catholic.

Rachel Campos-Duffy The View

Campos thrice vied for a role on the daytime television talk show The View. After Debbie Matenopoulos left the show in 1999, she competed in an on-air try-out with Lisa Ling and Lauren Sánchez. Ling was eventually hired.

After Ling’s departure in 2002, Campos who then held her own “coffee talk” show with other Wisconsin housewives competed again in a week-long on-air try-out. This time it was against Erin Hershey Presley and Elisabeth Hassel beck.

Hassel beck was hired to replace Lisa Ling in November 2003. When Hassel beck left The View to replace Gretchen Carlson as the female co-host of Fox & Friends in July 2013, Rachel once again tried out, but Jenny McCarthy was hired to fill the spot.

Rachel was also one of ten Real World alumni who starred in the 2003 film The Wedding Video, which was a Real World parody centered on the wedding of first season alumnus Norman Korpi.
