Randy Fenoli Biography
Randy Fenoli is an American television presenter and fashion designer from Mount Vernon, Illinois. He is mainly known for his work on Wedding Dresses and his own TV Show Randy’s Wedding Rescue and Say Yes to the Dress.
He was the Fashion Director for the wedding dress store Kleinfeld Bridal from 2007 to 2012. He grew up with a love of fashion and began sewing dresses when he was only nine years old. Fenoli finally expanding his efforts into the areas of make-up artistry, hair styling, and entertainment.
Fenoli won the Miss Gay America competition in 1990 where he performed as Brandi Alexander. He then used the money to enroll at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology.
While at the school, he won several awards for design and achievement. After graduating, he launched two bridal industry collections: Randy Fenoli for the Diamond Collection and Randy Fenoli for Dressy Creations. He is also a recipient of two DEBI awards (Design Excellence in the Bridal Industry), the most prestigious award for bridal designers.
Fenoli was offered a job working for Vivian Dessy Diamond, of the Vivian Diamond company. Finally, his design experience paid off when he was offered a job at Kleinfield. Fenoli is now an independent consultant. Randy co-hosted on Toronto’s number one rated talk show The Marilyn Denis Show. He has also served as main correspondent during TLC’S Royal Wedding live broadcast and event from Times Square.

He had his first official job as a cashier at a gas station and was later promoted to the manager to open up their new gas station/convenience store. He also worked as a makeup artist, was a hairdresser, waited tables at restaurants, and also had a gig as a personal chef.

Fenoli was born on a cattle farm in Southern Illinois. He was born the youngest of seven children. In an interview, he said that his father was pretty abusive, and he prayed for his whole life to get away from him and get off that farm.
At the age of nine, Fenoli’s mother brought home a sewing machine and supplies on the night. Her mother had planned to make her own clothing but she realized she was less than talented as a seamstress.
While leaving for work the following morning, his mother told him not to touch her sewing machine or good scissors. Randy could not believe his nature and leave the machine untouched. He sat down and then made a dress from a pattern. He left it for his mom to discover when she came home and loved it.
Her mother wore the dress to work the following day and also asked him to make more clothing.

Fenoli has since been a fashion designer since 1992. He made his television debut on U.S. channel TLC with Say Yes To The Dress, where his wit and fashion sensibilities charmed viewers. Fenoli has hosted Say Yes to the Dress: Randy Knows Best, broadcast in Spain and Italy, and Randy to the Rescue since 2011.
The show follows events at Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhattan. He helps brides find their perfect wedding dress. On the show, Fenoli and Kleinfeld consultants are nearly pushed to their limit as they juggle tighter-than-usual deadlines and demanding entourages in order to make every bride’s dream come true”.
Fenoli is seen by millions of viewers each week. He holds the philosophy that no matter what her size, age or shape, EVERY woman is beautiful. He has also appeared as a guest on many television shows, including, The Today Show, The View, Rachel Ray, Extra, Get Married, and The Martha Stewart Show.

On Randy to the rescue, Fenoli travels the country with a semi-truck filled with wedding gowns and accessories helping brides find their dream wedding dress at his ultimate pop up bridal salon.
He selects three lucky brides who have said Yes to their dress and then, with the help of a hairstylist and makeup artist, transforms these brides from head to hem. He then presents each with a bridal blueprint for her wedding day.

Fenoli has had a successful career in the bridal industry and gigs on television that don’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. Randy is worth $4 million. Being that he lives in New York, his life is not cheap at all.
Now that he is an independent consultant, he earns greatly from what he does. “Why should I work for someone else in a full-time job when I can earn $20,000 for a four-hour personal appearance?” he asked in his interview with The New York Times.
