Tye Sheridan (Tye Kayle Sheridan) is an American actor. Best known for playing Cyclops/Scott Summers in X-Men film series which premiered in 2016. Sheridan has also appeared in several other notable films. Including “Joe” (2013), “Entertainment” (2015), “Ready Player One” (2018), and “The Mountain” (2018). In addition to his film work, Sheridan has also acted in television. He starred in the 2017 limited series “The Yellow Birds” and played the lead role in the 2019 series “Captive State.”
Sheridan made his feature film debut in Terrence Malick’s experimental drama film The Tree of Life (2011) and also had his first leading role in Jeff Nichols’s film Mud (2012).
