Jim Fowler (born April 9, 1932 – died May 8, 2019) was an American was an American naturalist, wildlife expert, and television personality, best known for his work on the television program “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom.”
From a young age, Fowler showed interest in wildlife and started his television career as a co-host of a local nature show in New York City.
Mutual of Omaha approached him in 1963 to co-host a new television show called “Wild Kingdom,” which eventually became one of the longest-running and most successful wildlife programs in television history.
