Elizabeth Chambers Biography

Elizabeth Chambers is an American television personality, businesswoman, and actress from San Antonio, Texas, USA. She is known for her roles in The Game Plan (2007), Criminal Minds (2005), and Rolling Kansas (2003) as an actress.

She is also a former model and had a brief career as a TV journalist. Chambers is widely known for being married to Armand Douglas Hammer alias Armie Hammer who is an actor and the son of businessman Michael Armand Hammer and the great-grandson of oil tycoon Armand Hammer.

Chambers has had a great love for baking and she opened Bird Bakery alongside Hammer in 2012. Its first location opened up in Chambers’s hometown of San Antonio, and the second is in Dallas. She regularly appears on the Today show to host cooking segments, along with running her bakery and hitting the red carpet.

She was born to Judy Chambers. Chambers has a sister Catherine Chambers and two brothers Joseph and John Chambers. In an interview, Chambers cites her role models as her mother and father.

“My mom has a very strong personality and is an amazing businessperson. My dad is as well. He taught me everything I know about marketing, business, branding and sales. When I was in second grade selling Girl Scout cookies, I broke a record for most cookies sold because my dad gave me quotas. They taught me the value of doing business well, she says.

Chambers married Armie Hammer on May 22, 2010.Town & Country featured their wedding in the January 2011 issue. Hammer’s friend, artist Tyler Ramsey, introduced the couple. They have two children together.

As a journalist, she was Chief Correspondent of the Human Rights Foundation. Chambers first became involved with the organization in 2009. She has been a judge on a handful of shows, including Cupcake Wars, Sugar Showdown, and Chopped Junior.

Chambers and Armie founded BIRD bakery in 2012 after months of perfecting family recipes. She has said that she grew up in the kitchens of her mother and grandmother, who ran a local catering company for many years in San Antonio, so it was only natural for the couple to open a bakery in San Antonio. Bird offers breakfast foods like quiche, casserole, muffins, pie, and more.
