Caprice Bourret is an American award-winning model, businesswoman, television personality and philanthropist. She runs her own company, By Caprice in London where she also lives.
Bourret became one of the most photographed women in the world, appearing on over 300 magazine covers across the globe after moving to the Unite Kingdom in 1996. She has also been voted GQ Magazine’s Woman of the Year and Maxim’s International Woman of the Year for three years running. She has also been featured in television ad campaigns for Diet Coke and Pizza Hut.
Bourret was signed to Virgin Records in 1999 and finally released her first single, “Oh Yeah” (UK No. 24). Her follow up single “Once Around the Sun” (also UK No. 24) was released in 2001.
She also played Maureen in the musical Rent at The Prince of Wales Theatre and performed in The Vagina Monologues at the Arts Theatre in London’s West End. She produced and played the lead role of Lisa, in the off-Broadway production Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical at the Tesson Theatre in Johannesburg in 2007.
She has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities. She is also patron to Woman’s Trust and Brain Tumour Research, Tikva, Jewish Care .

She has also given speeches at business events about the development of her own business, and on topics of general business interest.

Bourret has starred in the films Hollywood Flies, Nailing Vienna, and Jinxed In Love, all produced for HBO. She then appeared in the British soap operas Hollyoaks and Dream Team and comedy show Hospital. She hosted another British television series, Caprice’s Travels in 1998. Caprice Travels followed Bourret’s tour through several major holiday destinations. She also appeared on Friday Night’s All Wright and several award shows, including the European MTV awards and the World Music Awards, the British National Television Awards in 1996, 1997, and 1998. She has also appeared on several series for the television channels VH1 and E! Entertainment Television.
Caprice featured in the Channel 4 documentary Being Caprice, in which a hidden camera recorded her life for ten days in 2000. She also hosted an evening at The Oscars and the red carpet event for the American Music Awards both of which were broadcast live on ABC Network in 2000.
Caprice appeared on the third series of the British reality television show Celebrity Big Brother in early 2005. She also continued to make appearances on its companion show Big Brother’s Little Brother until 2010.
She was a cast member on the fifth season of the VH1 reality series The Surreal Life and appeared in other reality shows including Celebrities Under Pressure, Celebrities Disfigured, Three Celebrities and a Baby, and Road Raja.
She also starred in the British independent movie Perfect Woman in June 2006. It followed an earlier appearance in the film The Man with Rain in His Shoes alongside Penélope Cruz. She was a judge on Sky 1’s Project Catwalk and Britain’s Next Top Model in 2007. Three years later, she was a head judge on TV3’s show Style Wars in Ireland.
Caprice came joint second with Jimmy Osmond in a Celebrity Come Dine with Me episode that also featured Nicky Clarke and Nancy Sorrell on November 13, 2008.
Caprice was announced as one of the fifteen contestants participating in the British reality diving show, Splash! in January 2013. She also appeared as a main cast member on Bravo reality series Ladies of London in June 2014.
In October 2014, she appeared on Who’s Doing the Dishes?. She then competed in series 4 of Channel 4’s The Jump in 2017 but withdrew due to illness.

Caprice now lives in a Grade II-listed Victorian home. The house features monochrome interiors and extravagant accessories – such as its own elevator and an indoor swing.
