Hallie Jackson (Marie) is an American journalist and news anchor who currently works as the senior Washington correspondent for NBC News. She is the Chief White House correspondent for NBC News and also an anchor for its cable division, MSNBC. Hallie is also a fill-in anchor for Today.
Jackson attended Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, where she was an active member of the school’s debate team. She went on to study journalism at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree.
After graduation, Jackson worked as a reporter and anchor for several local news stations, including WBOC-TV in Salisbury, Maryland, and WFSB-TV in Hartford, Connecticut. In 2014, she joined NBC News as a national correspondent, covering the 2016 presidential campaign and the White House.
