Arrington grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where she attended James Madison High School. She went on to study at the University of Miami in Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism.

Arrington began her career as a sports reporter at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri, and later worked for several local TV stations in California, including KABC-TV in Los Angeles and KTVT-TV in Dallas.
In 2000, she joined ESPN as a sideline reporter for college football and basketball games, and also covered the X Games and the Winter X Games. She left ESPN in 2004 to become a sideline reporter for CBS Sports, where she covered NFL and college football games, as well as the NCAA basketball tournament.
Arrington also worked for Fox Sports Net as a host and reporter for “The Best Damn Sports Show Period” and as a sideline reporter for NFL games. In addition, she has worked for TNT, TBS, and The Golf Channel.
Outside of her broadcasting career, Arrington has appeared in several films and TV shows, including “The Longest Yard” and “Entourage.”
After taking a break from her career to focus on her family, Arrington returned to broadcasting in 2018 as a co-host of the “MMQB TV” show on SI TV. She is also active on social media and has a large following on Instagram.
