Henry Cho is a Korean – American born stand up comedian, actor, and rancher. He is notable for being one of the only Asian acts to appear regularly on the Grand Ole Opry.
His work can be heard several times weekly on XM Radio’s Channel 151, Laugh USA, Sirius Radio’s Blue Collar Radio Channel 103, and Pandora Radio’s PG Comedy Radio Channel. Cho attended University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He moved to Los Angeles, California in 1989 to pursue his career.

Cho started his career as a stand-up comedian in the late 1980s and gained national exposure in 1992 with his appearance on “The Tonight Show.” He has since appeared on numerous television shows and specials, including “The Arsenio Hall Show,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” and “Comedy Central Presents.”
In addition to his stand-up comedy career, Cho has also acted in films and television shows, including “Material Girls,” “Say It Isn’t So,” and “Designing Women.” He has also written for television, including the sitcom “All-American Girl.”
Throughout his career, Cho has been recognized for his contributions to comedy, including being named one of the “Top 10 Comics to Watch” by Variety magazine and receiving the Comedy Award from the Asian American Justice Center.
Henry Cho What’s That Clickin Noise
Henry had his own Comedy Central special entitled Henry: What’s That Clickin’ Noise? in which Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy were special guest voices in the opening scene in 2006.
Cho signed a deal with Touchstone Pictures and ABC to write, produce, and star in a television situation comedy series centered on Korean-Americans living in the South in 2007.
He inked a deal with CBS/Paramount to write, produce and star in another sitcom with Craig Ferguson as executive producer in 2009. In 2011 he also had a special/pilot “The Show” on Great American Country (GAC).
