Julia Jones is an American actress who is known for playing Leah Clearwater in The Twilight Saga films and Kohana in the HBO series Westward.
She attended The Boston Ballet School since the age of 4. She began working in commercials and also local theatre when she was eight. Jones graduated from Boston Latin School which is the oldest public school in America, and later Columbia University with a degree in English.

She appeared in a number of independent films before being cast in the Quentin Tarantino produced biker remake Hell Ride, which premiered at Sundance in 2008.
Jones played Dr. Kaya Montoya on ER in its final two seasons. She also appeared in the Culture Clash play, Palestine, New Mexico, at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles in 2009.
Julia was cast in Jonah Hex and also in the last three installments of The Twilight Saga in 2010. She then played the female lead opposite Adam Sandler in The Ridiculous 6 and Gab on the Netflix series Longmire in 2015.
