Maschio graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University with a degree in acting. He started his acting career in the early 1990s with small roles in various TV shows and movies.
In 2001, Maschio got his breakthrough role as “The Todd” in “Scrubs”. His portrayal of the character, a womanizing surgeon with a penchant for high-fives and inappropriate remarks.
