Career
By age five, Wolff had begun composing his own melodies, and when he was in preschool, he built a band called The Silver Boulders with his closest companions. Their dad recounts Nat training himself to play major and minor harmonies on the piano when he was four years of age.
Whenever Nat and his more youthful sibling Alex were babies, they emerged from the bath yelling: “We’re the naked brothers’ band!”
He started his acting profession Off-Broadway with a minor role in his mom’s play Getting Into Heaven (2003) and in the Off-Broadway creation of Heartbeat to Baghdad (2004), both at The Flea Theater.
He later gained recognition, at nine years old, for featuring in, contributing lead vocals, instrumentation, and verses for the 2005 melodic satire movie The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie, which was composed and coordinated by his mom, and acquired the Audience Award for a Family Feature Film at the Hamptons International Film Festival. The series earned him one BMI Cable Award for composing the series’ music.
His unreleased tune “Yes We Can”, to pay tribute to President Barack Obama, was heard by the President and his two daughters who appreciated it and called him.
He went on appearing in several films including the Nickelodeon television film special Mr. Troop Mom (2009), the romantic comedy New Year’s Eve(2011), and the independent comedic drama Peace, Love & Misunderstanding (2011).
H won the 2014 Teen Choice Award under the Choice Movie: Scene Stealer and the Choice Movie: Chemistry category and the 2015 Cinema Con Awards under the Rising Star Category.
