Sally-Ann Roberts is an American former anchor for WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana born on February 14, 1953 . She acted in several movies including Runaway Jury (2003), Dead Man Walking (1995), and Storyville (1992).

Roberts attended The University of Southern Mississippi where she graduated in 1974.

Roberts began her career in broadcasting in 1977 as a reporter and anchor for a local television station in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. In 1979, she returned to her hometown of New Orleans to work for WWL-TV, the CBS affiliate station. She spent over 40 years at WWL-TV, where she became one of the most respected journalists in the city.

During her career, Roberts covered numerous major news stories, including Hurricane Katrina, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and the BP oil spill. She also interviewed several notable figures, including Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

In addition to her work in journalism, Roberts was active in her community, serving as a board member for numerous organizations, including the New Orleans Women’s Shelter and the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts.

Sally-Ann Roberts was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 and became an advocate for cancer awareness and prevention. She authored a book about her experience with cancer, titled “Going Home: A Cancer Journey,” which was published in 2014.
