Rodriguez graduated from Florida International University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Rodriguez started her career as an anchor and reporter for WSVN in Miami in 1998. She covered many breaking news stories, including the Elian Gonzalez saga and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
