Anika Noni Rose is an American actress and singer best known for her leading role as Lorrell Robinson in the 2006 film Dreamgirls and her Tony Award-winning performance in the Broadway production of Caroline, or Change.

In 2003, she portrayed Kaya in From Justin to Kelly. Alongside Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Murphy, she played Lorrell Robinson in the 2006 film Dreamgirls. Additionally, she voiced the primary character Tiana, the first African-American princess in Disney history, in the 2009 animated picture The Princess and the Frog.
