Kevin O Connor is a well-known American television personality and businessman, born on January 20, 1968, in Trenton, New Jersey. PBS’s popular home renovation show “This Old House” and its spin-off “Ask This Old House” are hosted by him.
O’Connor graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in history and later earned a Master’s degree in business administration from Boston University. He worked as a management consultant for several years before joining “This Old House” in 2003.
As the host of “This Old House,” O’Connor has become a household name and has won several awards, including a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Service Show Host. He also hosts “Ask This Old House,” a companion show that focuses on answering viewer questions and providing DIY advice.
In addition to his television work, O’Connor is also a successful businessman. He is the founder of O’Connor Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage companies in the technology, healthcare, and education sectors.
He is also a board member of several nonprofit organizations, including Boston Children’s Hospital and the Home Safety Council.
