Stevie Wonder Kidney Transplant
On July 6 2019, the music legend Stevie Wonder told the crowd at a gig in London’s Hyde Park that he would give three more concerts before going for a kidney transplant in September 2019.
Wonder made the announcement after playing his 1972 hit Superstition, saying that he wanted to prevent rumours about his health from spreading. “I have a donor and it’s all good,” he said.
“I want you to know I came here to give you my love and to thank you for your love. You ain’t gotta hear no rumors about nothing, I told you what’s up. I’m good. All right?”

The couple has two children together. The name of their first child together is unknown but their second child Nia was born in December 2014. There were rumors that Wonder would be a father to triplets but this turned not to be the case. Their daughter’s name Nia means “purpose”–one of the seven principles of Kwanzaa.
According to some sources, Bracy also has two other children from a previous relationship. The tabloid reports that Stevie has daughters Bri Sche’ Milan and Kenaya Tare’ Fair.
She also had a son, Iziah who died after falling from an open window in 2005 when he was only two years old. Tomeeka went ahead to write about the tragedy on a blog. There, she also posted a handful of other stories about toddlers who died after falling from a window.
“He was not looking out his window, he sat on the floor in front of a huge lion stuffed animal. This was to distract him from ever sitting on the floor level window sill,” Bracy wrote on the site. “Well being a toddler he leaned and rocked backwards talking on his play cell phone and went [throughout] the closed blinds, screened window, and out to the ground two stories below.”
Bracy is also step mother to Wonder’s seven children from previous marriages and relationships. She has a step daughter, Aisha Morris that Wonder had with Yolanda Simmons whom he met when she applied for a job as secretary for his publishing company. The two also have a son Keita born in 1977.
