Mazza attended Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts School and later enrolled into the University of Arts in Philadelphia, from where she graduated in 2003.
In high school, Mazza earned nominations for her lead role in three plays and the prestigious ‘Best Actress’ award at the ‘Gene Kelly Awards For Excellence in High School Musical Theater’ twice, in her freshman and senior years, making her the only person to receive this honor. While in college, she successfully auditioned to be a member of a four-person girl group, Audrey Blue.
The group did a photo shoot with the event sponsor YM magazine and recorded the original song ‘Stay to the World’, but the magazine never released it.
After college, she offered to do a Broadway Revue at Caesar’s Palace in Atlantic City, where she performed nightly for three months. After relocating to New York, she landed a spot in the Britney Spears video, ‘Me Against the Music’. Mazza traveled to many cities across the country for Broadway national tour of ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’.
